Get started with Trailback

Thanks for buying. Setting it up takes about a minute: install it, paste your license key, and follow the short setup.

The video shows a Mac. On Windows, install Trailback from the Microsoft Store; the other steps are the same.

Or follow the steps

  1. Download Trailback from trailback.app (Mac) or the Microsoft Store (Windows).
  2. Mac: open the downloaded file and drag Trailback into Applications.
  3. Open Trailback. On a Mac, click “Open” if it asks about an app downloaded from the internet. Then read the short welcome and click “Got it — Continue”.
  4. Paste your license key (it's in the email we sent you) and click Activate.
  5. Follow the short setup. When your computer asks for access, allow it. Add the free browser extension.
  6. From then on, open Trailback from any app with Option + Space (Mac) or Alt + Shift + Space (Windows).
